   Stephen will enter his junior year this fall as a journalism major at Penn State-Harrisburg. He recently received the Walker Award at Penn State for excellence in leadership, scholarship, character and community service. He also earned the Teresa Spatora Scholarship for outstanding journalism skills, presented by the Pennsylvania Women's Press Association. This is the second year in a row that Stephen has received a Ridge Scholarship sponsored by Giant Food Stores. He's employed at the Giant Food Store in Hazleton.
   
   Stephen has also earned the Dean's List every semester in college and he received the Presidential Award for accumulating a 3.7 or higher grade point average. During his sophomore year, he joined the Rotaract Club, which is a community service and leadership club, and he re-started the campus newspaper, the Collegian.
   
   He is also a student government senator and a member of the Business Club.
