Christine O’Donnell is a nationally recognized political commentator and public relations consultant. Over the last ten years, Christine has been a regular contributor to programs including Fox News Channel’s The O’Reilly Factor, Hannity & Colmes, CNN, MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews and ABC's Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher. Some of her most recent television appearances include debating the ethics of human cloning and embryonic stem cell research on The O’Reilly Factor, and discussing the effects of drug use on political candidacy on Fox & Friends. She is also frequently asked to comment on the ever-changing dynamics of the 2008 Presidential Election.A devout Catholic, Christine combined her faith with her God given talent working as an independent marketing consultant on Mel Gibson’s breakthrough film The Passion of the Christ. In addition to developing the pre-release marketing campaign and advanced ticketing program, Christine was also the marketing and media director of the book tour for Inside the Passion, the critically acclaimed best seller offering a behind the scenes look at the making of the film.Christine also served as a policy advocate and communications director for Conservative think tank the Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI), for whom she developed and planned the organization’s 50th Anniversary Gala in addition to her work as ISI’s spokeswoman. As the organization’s spokeswoman, Christine did extensive traveling, speaking to large groups about social issues including abortion, sexuality and other prominent conservative social issues. Her leadership in this role was at least partially attributable to her early work as the Founder of the Savior’s Alliance for Lifting the Truth (SALT), a student based organization whose purpose was to mobilize Christian students on social and moral issues. In 2006, several pro-life supporters encouraged Christine to run for United States Senate in Delaware, where she still resides. After initially refusing, she ultimately decided to run a write-in campaign, which became the most successful independent campaign effort ever run in Delaware. Fresh off her learning experience in 2006, the Delaware Republican Party has rallied its support behind Christine and she will soon be exploring a candidacy for the seat currently held by incumbent Democrat and Presidential candidate Joe Biden. As an unwavering moral conservative, Christine’s politics have garnered her supporters from both sides of the political aisle. She has debated foreign and domestic policy against the nation’s foremost experts and is surprisingly well liked amongst liberal political commentators and bloggers. After being initially out of political favor with the Delaware Republican Party for seizing votes which may have otherwise gone to the 2006 US Senate nominee Jan Ting, her steadfast stance on moral and social issues and continued efforts to be accessible have drawn enough favor with the party to earn her the 2008 nomination. Her nearly constant media appearances and engaging personality have also helped Christine key in to younger voters, a group she feels is necessary to her goal of creating an America with renewed faith in the dignity of human life and families.Christine is also working on a book. By writing Loving the F-Word: Rediscovering Modern Feminism, Christine hopes to share her viewpoints on gender roles in all societies and in a manner which every man and woman can understand outside the context of a rigid debate. She also hopes that by releasing the book as her campaign kicks into high gear, she will gather enough attention locally and nationally to defeat Joe Biden, whose focus on the Presidency has left Delaware citizens wondering whose interests he is really serving.
