Robert Nordquist, CEO of Wound Healing of Oklahoma, described his company as an incubator of medical devices.It was founded in 1994 and is privately owned.The CellPlant stent is the company's first big product to be sold.Nordquist says the product has gone through pre-clinical studies and is close to clinical trials.

About 300,000 glaucoma surgeries are done each year in the U.S., and four times that many are done worldwide, Nordquist says.
