Karen Noel

Karen Noel, BN, RN, IBCLC , Karen graduated from BSC's Lactation Consultant Course in 1997 and first became IBLCE certified in that same year.She has been a clinical nurse coordinator in health and community services in the Eastern region of Newfoundland, Canada since 1998.Prior to that, she was a community health nurse, public health nurse, and home care nurse.Karen is a member of the Canadian Lactation Consultant Association.She worked on a strategic plan for Newfoundland with other lactation consultants to increase initiation and duration of breastfeeding.Karen serves on the Quality Initiative Committee in Health And Community Services and on the Eastern Newfoundland Regional Breastfeeding Committee.Contact Karen directly at: phillip.noel@nf.sympatico.ca
