That program is similar to the ETS program, but it does not allow teachers to create their own tests, and it does not break down the data as thoroughly as IDMS does, said Dr. Adrienne Noel, director of research at TPS.
"Through ETS and the IDMS system, we're able to construct that type of test and administer it to our students," Noel said."And using their system, within 24 hours of students putting the information on our tests, we're able to pinpoint their needs."
Noel said TPS would use the ETS software through this year and possibly install it on a full basis next year.

Noel said while she can't argue with the results of the PRO-Ohio system, the district is always looking to improve.
"The information that comes from the ETS and the IDMS system is so much more extensive than what comes from [PRO-Ohio]," she said.
