Shellie Nixon

Shellie NixonShellie Nixon begins her sixth year as Music Teacher, working with our 3-5 year olds on Wednesdays.She was a kindergarten teacher in Glencoe public schools for eleven years.Prior to that, Shellie taught music at numerous preschools and at the Music Institute of Lake Forest and the Music Center of the North Shore.In addition to holding an MAT degree in early childhood education, Shellie has a music degree from DePaul University and is a certified Orff music teacher.She is the mother of an adult daughter and has two grandchildren.
