Jerrold Nixon, President of Maron Electric, a supporter of the Foundation for many years, made an initial monetary commitment in 1995.Nixon points to the need to "upgrade our industry to move into the 21st Century" as his reason for upgrading to the Founder level.Foundation studies that help contractors deal with changes on the job are particularly important to Maron Electric."Companies need help to protect themselves from compaction, acceleration and multiple changes without fair time extensions and compensation," says Nixon."We need to work smarter and better than our competition, and the Foundation studies help us to do that."Nixon is excited about the future of the electrical contracting industry, especially in the low voltage sector.
