"She was a very special individual," said Bentworth High School track coach Jerome Nixon.
Alexzandra, who was ready to begin her sophomore year at Bentworth, finished third in the Class AA 1,600-meter run and earned a fifth-place medal in the 800 meters in May during the PIAA Track and Field Championships in Shippensburg.
Two weeks earlier, she set the WPIAL Class AA championship record in the 1,600.
Her death came as a shock to those who knew her.To be so young, so talented, so beautiful and so kind, how could this happen to her?
