Janet Nixon talked about the Surrey History Centre's project to highlight their collection of the archives of the Broadwood Piano Company - a project that included a performance on a Broadwood piano held at the History Centre itself.She described some of the many challenges they had to overcome, including lack of knowledge about the physical attributes of the performance space, such as the acoustics, and the space needed to manoeuvre the piano in and out of the building.Janet and her team felt the project was a steep learning curve, and some of the lessons gained were:
