Susan M. Nix is a senior investigator with H&K Investigative Solutions.Her assignments have included civil and criminal litigation support related to sexual harassment, product liability, trademark infringement, white-collar crime, fraud, domestic relations, maritime, personal injury, medical issues and due diligence.In addition, Ms. Nix conducts internal corporate investigations into self-dealing and claims relating to breaches of fiduciary duty.

Before joining H&K Investigative Solutions, Ms. Nix enjoyed a law enforcement career of 20 years.During her tenure as a law enforcement agent, she served as special agent with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and special agent in charge (bureau chief) of the Northeast Regional Headquarters.In these capacities, she supervised 75 agents and support personnel and managed a $3.5 million budget.

Ms. Nix recently completed an appointment to the Florida executive office of the governor as the chief of investigations under the chief inspector general.In this position, she conducted investigations concerning mismanagement, fraud, abuse and waste while working closely with state agencies and federal agencies.

Ms. Nix established the first state investigators' roundtable for intelligence and investigative training of all state agency investigators.

Ms. Nix is a graduate of the 121st session of the FBI National Academy and holds bachelor's degrees from University of Central Florida, Oviedo, Florida in criminal justice, sociology and psychology.She has a master's from Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida in criminal justice.
