With a decade of political communications experience, founder and CEO Kevin Nix has held various positions in the private and public sectors.During the 2004 presidential race, he was the deputy communications director at Media Matters for America, writing daily by-lined articles analyzing the national media coverage of the campaign; writing speeches and talking points used on CNN, CNBC, and NPR; and creating and managing a multi-state grassroots program.He has held client management positions at Burson-Marsteller and Public Strategies, Inc., providing strategic message development to corporate and government clients.A native Texan, he began his career in politics as a research analyst for the U.S. Senate Banking Committee.Nix earned his BA from Tulane University and MA in American Government from Johns Hopkins University, where he was a guest lecturer on research methods during the fall of 2004.He was profiled in a June 2006 issue of the National Journal's Congress Daily.
