Dr. Jason E. Nirenberg
Dr. Jason Nirenberg is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Florida, where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.He graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1981 where he was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Nirenberg completed his internship at St. Joseph's Hospital in Houston, Texas.He was chosen as "Outstanding Resident" at the Hermann Eye Center at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1985.He practiced in the Miami area for five years, during which time he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Nirenberg became an Associate Physician of New York Eye Surgery Center in 1991 after completing his Clinical Fellowship there.He is currently an Attending Surgeon at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center, Montefiore Medical Center and the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Greater New York.
Dr. Nirenberg is a highly-trained ophthalmologist who has performed thousands of ophthalmic surgeries and lasers.He is noted for his clinical and surgical expertise as well as the personal and courteous attention he gives to each and every one of his patients.
