George Niles
George Niles, known as Sandy to Hunt members, has been the kennelman for the Wentworth hounds since November of 2005. He was born in Connecticut, grew up in Nashua and earned his degree in Ceramics from UNH. After serving as an officer in the US Coast Guard he and Cheryl moved to the family farm in Dover. Sandy's involvement with the Wentworth Hunt goes back to the first year (1976) when Cheryl capped and they both walked out hounds with MFH Bob Leonard. He jumped into trail clearing and helping out at the Wentworth Hunter/Jumper show at Green Acres. He has been responsible for whelping all Wentworth hounds since 1991, as well as, caring for sick, injured and retired members of our pack. He has driven his horse Dilligaf at Yorkfield, Milton Mills and Epping; but, now is our motorized whip.
