Nationality Greek: born Cairo, Egypt 1950

Pandelis holds a Diploma in Naval Architecture from the Sunderland Polytechnic 1980.Sea Service with Prodromos Lines, Hellenic Lines and Heracles International.Chief Engineer's Certificate 1983 yet acting as Chief Engineer between 1981 & 1983.Employed as Superintendent Engineer with Seascope Shipping Co.Ltd. and Universal Glow Inc. until 1985 thereafter engaged as a Ship Surveyor of Overseas Maritime.

Pandelis has been representing Overseas Maritime and our Principals on some of the major casualties in this area.These include the capsize of Ferry POSEIDON EXPRESS at Paros, the capsize of cement carrier DYSTOS off Evia, the grounding of bulk carrier KHAMZA at Chalkidiki and an investigation into the sinking of luxury yacht MILASAN off Sicily.Repairs to underwater pipe-lines of the State Refinery at Thessaloniki after a maritime accident and ore/oil carrier LASSIA that broke her back whilst discharging cargo at Taranto are some of the more recent notable casualties attended.

Pandelis is a member of The Institute of Marine Engineers, The Royal Institution of Naval Architects, The Society of Consulting Marine Engineers and Ships Surveyors, The Hellenic Institute of Marine Technology and the Hellenic Marine Technical Consultants' Association.

Fluent in Greek and English, working knowledge of Arabic and French.
