LIET (LEE) NGUYEN

Liet (Lee) Nguyen, Partner, brings to Alcalde & Fay broad experience in business and government as well as native familiarity and contacts to support his responsibilities as the Alcalde & Fay Partner with the focus on Vietnam.

Born and educated in Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen became a U.S. resident in 1975 and began a career in the legal, business and social service fields for both local gov¬ernment and the private sector. Along with his profes¬sional development, he has continually participated in on-going educational and training programs to increase his knowledge and qualifications.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Nguyen garnered more than a decade's experience as the business manager of a construction company, and more recently as treas¬urer of a real estate firm. He currently serves as a magistrate in the 19th Judicial District of Virginia. Mr. Nguyen has worked in both social and public health programs and has been an independent consultant in family therapy.

Attracted by the prospects for American invest¬ment in Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen entered into a joint venture with Alcalde & Fay. On behalf of the firm, Mr. Nguyen arranges investments, establishes joint ventures, and promotes trade projects in the United States and Vietnam for both American and Vietnamese business firms.
