Kirsten Nelsen

Kirsten Nelsen Trainer

Kirsten Nelsen is originally from Greenville, SC where she received her B.A. degree in Health and Exercise Science from Furman University. She came to Fitness Together to broaden her horizons on what is out there in the fitness industry. Eventually she would like to be certified in the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association).

Kirsten has been interested in exercise and sports her entire life. In high school she played on the volleyball team and ran track. She won state her sophomore year in the 4x800m relay and came in second her senior year running the open 800m race. At Furman she played rugby and participated in every intramural sport offered. She went on to play rugby for the US National Team her sophomore and junior years at Furman. She has since retired from rugby and taken up a career in physical fitness.

In her free time she loves hiking, running, working out, walking her Newfoundland puppy, and planning for her July 2009 wedding.

Kirsten is blessed to be given this opportunity to serve others and help them reach their goals.
