Katrina Nelsen Katrina Nelsen has been in the home care field for over five years and enjoys the challenges and rewards of her work.She has been the supervising Staffing Coordinator for Heritage Senior Care for the past three years.Her responsibilities include the overall supervision and scheduling of our home care aides, as well as overseeing reference and background checks and orientations.Additionally, Katrina processes the weekly payrolls and administers benefit packages.She has an exceptional rapport with our staff and clients that involves trust and understanding.She prides herself in finding the best possible compatibility in matching her staff with the needs and desires of her clients and their families.

Currently, Katrina is a full time student at San Diego State University where she is earning her bachelors degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Elementary Education.Upon graduating, Katrina hopes to teach at the second or third grade level.When given the opportunity, she volunteers her time at the local elementary school to gain more experience in working with children.Other volunteer interests include delivering gifts and meals to the homebound elderly in her community.

Shannin Marsh, LVNShannin has been practicing nursing in Southern California for all of her career.She has been a long term case manager for the past 6 years.As a licensed vocational nurse, Shannin has an extensive background with hospice care, developing care plans, assessments of new patients, and keeping the lines of communications open with family.Throughout her career, Shannin has participated in numerous community and professional events.She takes special pride in each and every case by personally overseeing everything that goes on in the home: even if it means staying with her client herself.She is currently studying to become a registered nurse and specialize in geriatric care.

Shannin has been married for over ten years and has two children, ages nine and ten.Her husband is currently a Marine Corps Drill Instructor in San Diego.Shannin is an active participant in the rolling reader program with the San Diego School District and works with disabled children.As a native Californian and resident of San Diego, she makes it a point to get involved in her community.
