  The Walking Horse Owners Association has announced the results of their national directors election. Frank E. Neal of Nashville, TN has been elected President of WHOA for 2008. The following 8 members have been elected to 3 year terms as Board of Directors.

  Frank Neal, president of WHOA, had issued a statement previously offering support for NHSC, but the owners met Thursday to discuss the issue and possibly vote on the matter.

  "The Walking Horse Owners Association would like to affirm our support of the National Horse Show Commission," wrote Frank Neal, WHOA president, in a recent letter to the NHSC. He referred to the "current discourse" as "discouraging."
  
  Neal said in the letter details were too vague now to make any kind of a decision.
  
  "It would be irresponsible of our organization to act without complete information on how our owners would be affected," wrote Neal.
