Associate Executive Director
Eric Neal is the Associate Executive Director at the Towson Family YMCA.He has held this position since September 2000.Eric is responsible for aquatics, youth and teen programs and the membership departments.In addition, he coordinates the Turkey Trot 5K Race and annual golf tournament.He oversees eight part-time coordinators, three full-time directors, supervisors, coordinators and over 100 part-time staff.
Eric has been with the YMCA since 1991 when he began his YMCA career as Aquatic Director at the Indiana County YMCA.He subsequently became Program Director and played a vital role in the growth and development of that YMCA's programs.During his tenure at the Indiana County YMCA, program revenue grew by over 400%.
In his current position, Eric has substantially increased fundraising efforts for the Annual Giving Campaign through the Turkey Trot 5K Race and annual golf tournament.Combined, these two events have grown 230%, raising over $39,000 annually.
