Emily Neal is an accomplished Massage Therapist having practiced for nearly 30 years and having treated thousands of clients.Emily also spear-headed legal massage recognition and licensure for the first time in the State of North Carolina, and earned her Bachelor of Science and Masters Degrees from the University of Vermont.Mrs. Neal is also an accomplished watercolorist having won first place ribbons for some of her works, raised three sons largely on her own while making a career in Real Estate Investing, then in Massage Therapy and now as the Instructor of her American Symbiotic Massage Therapy Institute.She started the Asheville Bodywork Clinic in 1986 and created her own Massage Modality because of the very great need from many of her elder clients who had tried every other method first but continued in a life of great discomfort and disillusionment.She now continues to give Massage and teach her Modality and will soon finish her book on the founding, need for, and application of Symbiotic Massage Therapy.
