Throughout his career, Dr. Neal, an outstanding scientist and successful entrepreneur, has concentrated on the application of advanced mathematical and engineering analysis technology to solve practical problems, particularly those related to the national defense, the environment, and transportation. Dr. Neal's research has included use of statistical techniques to design U.S. and NATO ships with improved speed and maneuverability, the development of mathematical models to predict water pollution concentrations resulting from urban watershed runoff, and computational analyses to ameliorate traffic congestion and upgrade highway safety. Dr. Neal has authored over thirty technical reports and has published in national and international journals, including Water Resources Research, Proceedings of International Symposia on Naval Hydrodynamics, and publications of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Dr. Neal is the founder and CEO of The Scientex Corporation.
