Born in Montreal in 1962, Janice Naymark became a member of the Bar of Quebec in 1987, after finishing second in her class and obtaining bachelor's degrees in both Civil Law (B.C.L.) and Common Law (L.L.B.) from McGill University.Janice joined Spiegel Sohmer in 1987 and became a partner of the firm in 1993.

One of the senior members of our corporate and commercial law department, Janice specializes in acquisitions and sales of businesses, particularly in the high-tech industry.There are no major mergers or acquisitions handled by our firm in which she does not participate, in one way or another.

Janice also practices intellectual property law, notably in the areas of acquisitions and licensing of intellectual property.

She has been a sessional lecturer of the Business Associations course at the Faculty of Law of McGill University.

Together with François Demers and Geoffroy Guilbault, Janice oversees all student and lawyer recruitment at Spiegel Sohmer.

She is fluent in both the English and French languages.
