Lynne Nayman
Lynne was born in Boston and spent her first years in Newfoundland, Virginia and California as a Coast Guard "brat", returning to Boston at age 5 and living there until age 14.She then moved to New York for the first time, residing on Governors Island in New York Harbor, where her father was stationed. After spending her high school years outside of Washington DC, she returned to New York in 1971.
She worked for 12 years as a real estate agent/associate broker, and is currently employed as a legal secretary locally but keeping her license current. In addition to work, she was a full-time student from Spring 2001 through December 2004 and received her BA in February 2005.She is now enrolled in the MPA program at Pace University, on a part-time basis.
In Rotary, Lynne serves as chair of the Educational Grant committee, edited the Horse Show Journal for two years, and has spent several Horse Shows walking around the pony ring and monitoring bouncing children in the air castle. In addition to Rotary, she serves on the board of VOCAL NY (Victims of Child Abuse Laws), a state-wide organization advocating for parents involved with Child Protective Services. She also is currently a member of the Peekskill Democratic City Committee.
If she had any leisure time, she'd love to learn to play golf and maybe participate in the Ben Andrews golf outing.
