Vineet Nayar, president of the $1-billion HCL Technologies, has seen very closely the rough and tumble as well as the boom of IT services over the past few years.

HCL, India's fifth-largest software services firm, will take on 250 Skandia employees on its rolls in the UK, and hire additional staff by setting up a dedicated unit in Chennai, President Vineet Nayar said.
