"It can't come soon enough," said Linda Navorska, an assistant principal at M.C. Riley Elementary School.
But it is unlikely the mobile classrooms will disappear anytime soon, she said.Even with the additions, the schools will be over their capacity.
"Probably by the time the classrooms are built, we'll have uses for those mobiles," Navorska said.

Two kindergarten classes currently are separated from the others at the school, so the new classrooms will allow school officials to consolidate the younger classes, Navorska said.
"It will be good to get the kindergarten reunited and bring in some people from the mobiles -- we hope," Navorska said.
