   JAMES A. NATTER, Psy.D., is the Executive Director of the Center. He is a a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families. He regularly works with individuals managing depression, and anxiety, relational, developmental, and spiritual issues. He is trained in the evaluation of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, as well as testing for other psychiatric disorders. He often uses EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for individuals with traumatic backgrounds. He is skilled in clinical hypnosis which is helpful in treating anxiety, alcoholism, smoking, obesity, and chronic pain. He is also a trained divorce mediator skilled in creating parenting agreements. He frequently leads workshops in the areas of couple communication and parenting. His master's work included a certificate in the integration of theology and psychology, along with his degree in community counseling. His doctorate degree in clinical psychology is from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. He previously served with a disciple-making organization called the Navigators and is a retired Navy Captain.

   JANEIL RUIZ, M.A., joins CDPCC for a diagnostic testing practicum under the supervision of Dr. James Natter through July 2007. She is currently a student at Wheaton College where she is working towards a doctorate degree in clinical psychology which she expects to complete in 2009. Janeil received a bachelor of arts degree in theology from Moody Bible Institute in 2000 and her master's degree in clinical psychology from Wheaton College. She has counseled a variety of clients at the DuPage Community Clinic and facilitated a wellness group for treating depression among migrant Mexican women.

   JAMES A. NATTER, Psy.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, divorce mediator and Executive Director at the Center. He received his doctorate degree in psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago and his master of science degree in community counseling from Georgia State University. He also holds a Certificate of Integration of Theology and Psychology from Psychological Studies Institute, Atlanta, Georgia. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Illinois Psychological Association, the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology and the Mediation Council of Illinois. Dr. Natter enjoys working with individuals, as well as couples and families. He regularly uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with youth, teens and individuals with traumatic backgrounds. He is also certified in clinical hypnosis. Dr. Natter has been a practicing clinical psychologist since 1992. He frequently leads workshops in the areas of couple communication and parenting.
