    The company, which makes software that facilitates the scalability and efficiency of IT infrastructure operations, received the financing from Toronto-based Brightspark Ventures, Montreal-based CDP Sofinov, and The Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System, said Rick Nathan, managing director at Brightspark Ventures.Mr. Nathan also said Sofinov was the lead investor in the round.

    The financing will be used to develop the company's first software product, known as ThinkControl.Mr. Nathan said Think Dynamics will probably seek another round of financing in 18 to 24 months.He would not comment on the company's valuation or burn rate.

    Brightspark maintains three board seats on Think Dynamics while Sofinov has one, Mr. Nathan said.
