Darren Nakano is an associate in the firm's Los Angeles office where he concentrates on tax and general corporate law.

Mr. Nakano has been involved in numerous transactions involving partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies.He also devotes a substantial amount of his practice to the fields of intellectual property and general business law.

Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Mr. Nakano was an associate with the law firm of O'Melveny & Myers, LLP and a tax manager at Ernst & Young, LLP, specializing in partnerships and joint ventures.

Mr. Nakano received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles, his J.D. from Loyola Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and on the Law Review, and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.Mr. Nakano is a member of the State Bar of California
