At the Chelsea Greenwich Village Chamber of Commerce's networking luncheon at the Village Restaurant, Jerry Nadler made an impressive argument - in this case that the World Trade Center cleanup was horribly botched by the Environmental Protection Agency.Among politicians, Nadler continues to be the most outspokenly critical on how the federal government handled the disaster.He blasted E.P.A. chief Christine Whitman's arriving on the scene a few days after the disaster to announce the air was safe.And he called the testing procedures for Trade Center fallout in residents' apartments inadequate.
