Mrs. Nadeau worked for the city of Biddeford as welfare director for 28 years.She also was Biddeford's police matron for many years.

She was a member of Daughters of Isabella, Biddeford Senior Citizens, the M.A.R.S. Organization and Maine Municipal Organization on Welfare.

Mrs. Nadeau enjoyed traveling, and socials and luncheons with friends.
