Janice Myrick, MT, (ASCP), Baptist Laboratory Technical Specialist: Worked at Baptist 39 years.

Myrick decided at about 15 years old she wanted to be in medicine. All of her science, biology, chemistry and math were her favorite classes. She thought it would be a fascinating field and always changing. It would be an opportunity to help others.

Myrick's goal is always to be the best that she can. Everything Baptist's Lab does is important to someone. Also, everyday she tries to be patient and kind. She said, "In healthcare, we need to always be aware not only of the patient, but also the patient's family.
