Dr Abdul Raufu Mustapha
Abdul Raufu Mustapha studied Politics at Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria and St. Peter's College, Oxford.
He is a University Lecturer in African Politics at Queen Elizabeth House (QEH) and Kirk-Greene Fellow at St. Antony's College, Oxford.
He is also the Senior Researcher (West Africa) for the Centre for Research on Inequality, Human Security and Ethnicity (CRISE), based at QEH.
He is a member of the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) netweek on Ethnic Structure and Public Sector Governance, and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA), Dakar.
His major research interests are in the areas of Ethnicity & Identity Politics in Africa and the Politics of rural communities in Africa.
