Rod J. Mustanski was born and raised in Wheeling, WV.After serving four years in the U.S. Navy, he received a BA Degree from West Liberty State College and worked on his graduate studies at Dayton University at the College of Steubenville.He left his home state in 1977 to begin a career with the Department of the Army as an Instructional Systems Specialist at Fort Lee, Virginia where his knack for writing began.
Up to now, all of Rod J.'s writing has been for professional publications and satirical articles on sporting events.He retired from the Federal Government in 2004 after serving 31 years.Rod J. spent his last 10 years of civil service as the Chief, Quartermaster Training responsible for developing and providing resident/non-resident training materials to over 115,000 active and reserve soldiers worldwide.He received several commendations and awards during an illustrious career with the Federal Government capping it all off with a congratulatory letter from President George W. Bush for his accomplishments and dedicated public service.
Since retiring, Rod J. now has the time to devote to his lifelong ambition--writing.He is an avid sportsman and spends his leisure time hunting, fishing, and on the fairways.His soul mate, Debbie, and he have 5 children and 10 grandchildren.
