Mr. Murphy has more than 30 years of experience in providing audit, banking, finance, and financial advisory services to numerous government agencies and financial institutions. John is a performance oriented professional with experience spanning the corporate, government, and financial advisory realms. He has extensive supervisory experience and leads teams through policy development work and implementation efficiently while meeting exceeding goals and expectations. John draws on his varied background to make judgments that are in the best interest of his clients and which adhere to the highest standards of professionalism. He keenly understands the federal regulatory requirements facing the Department of Defense and has proven himself to be a key member of the financial improvement and audit readiness efforts of the Defense Department for the last three years. Performed consolidated financial statement audits for FYs 1991-2005 under three contracts. As a senior auditor for FYs 1995-2003 financial statement audits, John was responsible for auditing subsidy rate estimates required by the Federal Credit Reform Act and the SBA loan asset sales. He performed detailed analytical reviews of the credit subsidy programs and independently developed work steps to supplement the audit work plan. •Financial Services Management: Banking and Mortgage Banking Industry: Mr. Murphy was directly responsible for the operations of 12 branches with a deposit base of $350 million. His achievements include: Directing residential, commercial, home equity, and consumer loan organization; underwriting; and closing loans for retail bank customers under various Government agency guidelines and lending programs, including FNMA, Ginnie Mae, and FHLMC. Underwriting included detailed financial analysis of financial statements, cash flow reports, and financial business plans for all borrowers.
