Vince Mulroy, Board Member Vince Mulroy brings to Mama Hope enthusiasm for its mission and over thirty years of leadership in successful business and non-profit organizations. A true industry veteran, Vince studied at Stanford University, where he deepened his love of learning while earning a degree in political science. He refined his business skills by obtaining an MBA from Harvard in 1984, and then joined Spieker Partners, a real estate investment and development company, which accumulated an impressive portfolio of West Coast commercial properties. At Spieker, where Vince acquired, developed, and managed property, he says he "made more than enough mistakes to sharpen my judgment. Since 2001, after selling Spieker, Vince has managed his investments, reintroduced himself to his wife Ann and teenagers John and Caroline, and rediscovered the joy of learning. Vince has long been an integral part of his community; even in college he was honored with the Sterling Award for volunteer leadership. Among his non-profit endeavors, Vince served as a National Director of the NCAA Volunteers for Youth--a nationwide program in which college students befriend youths experiencing difficulties. With Vince's education, business acumen, and passion for civic involvement, Mama Hope is thrilled to welcome Vince Mulroy as its Business Partner. Vince believes Mama Hope teaches others how to help themselves, with imagination and enthusiasm.
