Jim Mulligan, president of Sky Promotions, a promotional searchlight and aerial advertising company in Tucson, Arizona, and a frequent contributor of material to this site, recently dedicated his restored 1942A GE unit to the 225th by affixing a plaque to that effect.

Marked "Historical Unit" and bearing the plaque dedicating the equipment to the 225th, Jim has further adorned the display with a large reproduction of the cover of the March 1942 issue of the Saturday Evening Post, which depicts a searchlight in action. All the former members of the 225th thank Jim for his grand gesture and want him to know they appreciate his efforts at publicizing their role in World War II. -
