The field of esthetic dentistry is rapidly moving into the computer age.Pioneering this advance is Eric K. Morrison, D.D.S., M.A.G.D., founder and president of the Center for Dental Health in Washington, D.C.
A native Washingtonian, Dr. Morrison has maintained a full-time private practice in the Washington area since the outset of his professional career and has achieved many honors in that time.
Committed to education, Dr. Morrison has served as a clinical instructor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry as well as a guest lecturer at the University of Maryland Dental School.To continually refine and update his own skills, he maintains a rigorous continuing education schedule.This dedication furthers his commitment to providing the best possible treatment for those he is privileged to serve.
Dr. Morrison is an active member in several professional academies, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Computerized Dentistry, the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators and the Academy of Operative Dentistry.His local memberships include the Maryland State Dental Association, the Maryland Academy of General Dentistry, the Southern Maryland Dental Society and the District of Columbia Dental Society.
He graduated magna cum laude from the Landon School in Bethesda in 1981.After graduating from the College of William and Mary in 1985, he earned his D.D.S. degree from the University of Maryland Dental School, graduating magna cum laude, in 1989.He earned top honors in multiple dental specialties, as well as membership in three national honor societies.
Dr. Morrison and his wife, Grace, have four children and reside in Maryland.
Dr. Morrison's love of dentistry is a natural result of his commitment to giving the very best to others, believing that each person deserves no less.Exemplifying this dedication is the leadership role Dr. Morrison has served with a medical and dental mission that ministers to an isolated rural community in the Dominican Republic.Together with a team of health care professionals, Dr. Morrison donated his time and talents to provide a full spectrum of medical and dental care for nearly 2000 residents of this poor community - individuals whose health care needs might otherwise go neglected.
