Roy Morris had a key role in the rapid expansion of Rathbone Brothers Plc into a leading discretionary fund management company in the UK with funds under management of approximately £11bn and an annual turnover of £120m.He became managing director in 1992 and then chief executive officer in 1997 before retiring in 2004.Roy's current activities include: Board member for the Liverpool Capital of Culture Company; non executive director of Liverpool Women's Hospital; Regional Chairman of the Yorkshire Bank; Chair of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Foundation and Chair of the legal practice Mace & Jones.He is also a director of Albany Investment Trust plc.
