"Pewaukee is one of the top Division 2 teams in the state," Tosa coach Kent Morin said.

Although the Wauwatosa East/West co-op wrestling team has 14 returning letterwinners, coach Kent Morin will still have his hands full replacing seven starters.

"We are very young this year because of graduation and having four juniors who decided not to come out this year," Morin said.

Morin also looks for strong leadership and results from Brooks (19-13), Nate Campbell (22-20), Greg Barnowski and Demetrius Mensah (29-14).

"Mensah worked very hard this past offseason, including being a member of the Wisconsin National Freestyle Team," Morin said.

"We will need to have some of our younger wrestlers like Ryan Reagan, Jake Lake and Cory Jay step up to that next level," Morin said.

"How quickly our young guys are able to develop will really determine our success as a team," Morin said.

One who was not reveling in Sines' predicament was Wauwatosa coach Kent Morin, the man who had the most to be dismayed about, as his team missed out on a chance at competing for a state berth by finishing second in the regional.

Morin and Sines run into each other at camps, have mutual respect for one another and are bonded even closer by the fact that both had sons who advanced to state this year.The pair even exchanged handshakes and laughs after the individual sectional Feb. 16.

"To be honest, it didn't affect me that much," Morin said.

"Pat was a two,time state qualifier in our youth program and this is just a continuation of that," said Morin, "Him and a few other guys, including his brother Peter, are the future of the program,"

"It was a great year and an enjoyable year," Morin recalled, "I think the kids will be really proud of it when they look back on it after a few years have passed, What we accomplished was record,breaking and I think they will be even more amazed with what they did with time,"

Wauwatosa East/West has hired Kent Morin as its wrestling coach.In the Woodland Conference, Morin will compete against his older brother, Keith Morin, the wrestling coach at Greenfield.

Head Coach: Kent MorinKent Morin began wrestling in 6th grade.He is a national place winner in both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, and was a three-year varsity wrestler at Greenfield High School.Kent attended Marquette University on a wrestling scholarship, and has been a coach for Greenfield, Greendale and Wauwatosa High Schools, as well as the Greenfield Recreation Department program, for the past 18 years.
