Educators brace for budget cuts -

Todd Mora , business manager of Comstock Public Schools , said he's waiting to see what happens to the bill under Senate consideration.
The at-risk reductions will effect us and we'll have to look at what the final changes in that funding will be , Mora said.
Funding for at-risk programs was reduced by $15 million in the next two years.
And we're still concerned that the foundation grant be left intact , he said.
When the House passed education cuts , the vote was split down party lines.Republicans supported the measure , and , for the most part , Democrats did not.
Republicans say they were determined to preserve the foundation funding.That meant other education funding sources were to bear the brunt of the budget crunch.
