    Mrs. Moore was born in Whitmire, South Carolina and attended elementary school their.She later moved to Thomasville, North Carolina where she graduated with Honors at Church Street High School.Mrs. Moore is a graduate of Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in biological sciences.Her religious life began with loving parents that brought her up in a loving church family.She joined the Mount Zion AME Methodist Church in Joanna, South Carolina.After Moving to Thomasville, North Carolina she attended the Brown's New Calvary Baptist Church where she worked actively as a member of the usher board, youth choir, Sunday school, Pastor's Aide Society.After marriage the Rev. Samuel W. Moore and moving to Chester, South Carolina, her work in Bethlehem First United and Love Presbyterian churches has continued.Mrs. Moore serves as Sunday school superintendent, adult Sunday school teacher, church treasurer, usher board, Pastor's Aide Society and in any an all other capacities needed.Her community involvement's to name a few are Teacher of Biology at Chester Senior High School where she has taught for 29 plus years and was voted teacher of the year by her peers in 1986.She has served as a South Carolina Educational Association's Uniserve Building Representative at Chester Senior High School for many years, she is president of one of the Clemson Extension Ladies Club of Chester, she served as Girl Scout troop leader many yeas, she is on the board of directors of the Chester County Disability and Needs Workshop, and she serves as secretary of the Jeff D. Brown Scholarship Foundation.

    Pastor and Mrs. Moore are the parents of three children, two sons and a daughter, Samuel IV, Diallo, and Myla respectively.Diallo and Myla are students at Clemson University.Diallo is majoring in Computer and Electrical Engineering and Myla majors in Industrial Engineering.The oldest son Samuel IV, is a special one and is working at the Chester County Disability and Needs Workshop here in Chester.God has blessed the Pastor Family and they are actively sharing their blessing with the church family and the community.Pastor Moore attended the public schools of Chester County beginning with the Brainard Elementary School in 1950.The Brainard facility was donated to the Chester County Schools in the late 1930, after the United Presbyterian Church USA closed its doors at Brainard.Prior to 1940 under the United Presbyterian Church USA, Brainard served the surrounding counties and states as high school and college.In 1950 Brainard was closed and all those students were transferred to York Road Elementary.The Chester Middle and Finley High School provided Pastor Moore with the rest of his public school education.In junior high and high school he participated in sports ( mainly football), band, chorus, honor society, and the library club.Pastor Moore graduated from Finley High School in May of 1962.Receiving academic and athletic scholarships, Pastor Moore matriculated in Johnson C. Smith University in August of 1962.After being injured during spring training of 1963 his football career at Smith ended.Working at the Presbyterian Hospital as an orderly he financed the balanced of his college years at JCSU.He graduated from Johnson C. Smith University in 1967 with a Bachelor Science Degree majoring in Biological Sciences.He received his Masters of Education from Winthrop University in 1977.He also received a certification in Community Action Programs Development from Atlanta University, a Program funded by the US Department of Labor's Bureau of Work Training Programs.

    Pastor Moore upon graduation from JCSU began working as the Chester County Coordinator of the Neighborhood Youth Program.In 1969 he was promoted to Deputy Director of the Out-of-School NYC programs sponsored by Carolina Community Actions, Inc. and served in that capacity until August 1973 when he began working in the Public school of Chester County.In the public schools he worked as a classroom teacher of biology, math, and physical sciences, coached football and track, served as assistant principal at both Chester Middle and Great Falls Middle Schools.He directed the Adult Education Programs, Attendance Programs, Transportation Programs, Computer Services and Technology Training for the School District of Chester County.He retired in June of 1999 to serve in full time ministry of the Word of God.In August of 1999 he was awarded a full time scholarship to work on a Masters of Divinity Degree at Johnson C. Smith Theological Seminary in The Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta Georgia.Carmel Presbyterian Church was the church that yielded his early spiritual nourishment.Pastor Moore joined the church at the early age of six.He followed his father to churches all over South Carolina and at one time even to Gainesville, GA.His membership ended at Carmel in the year of 1952.When he moved his membership to Bethlehem First United Presbyterian Church USA in McConnellsville, SC located in York County.In 1986 Pastor Moore began his ministry as Assistant Pastor to Bishop Samuel Mitchell Moore, his father, and the founder of Love Presbyterian Church, Independent.
