Maintenance - Sammy Moore Sammy joined the First Church Staff in February 2007. Sammy's responsibilities include keeping up the church grounds, maintaining several areas inside the church building, and security. Prior to working at First Church, Sammy worked for the railroad for 13 years as well as 20 years in construction.

Sammy has a daughter, Beauticia, and two grandchildren. Sammy enjoys fishing, basketball, going to the park and spending time with God. He loves his church and work at FUMC!

JACKSON, Tenn.--Services for Samuel Dickey Moore, 93, of Henderson, the father of Teresa Moore Wiley of Paducah, will be at 10 a.m. today at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.

Mr. Moore died Monday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson.

He was a graduate of Lambuth University and was a retired Methodist minister.He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Jackson.

In addition to his daughter, he is survived by his wife, Johnnie Loree Hunter Moore ; one sister, Iva Lynn Williams of Mobile, Ala. ; and two granddaughters, Angela Wiley Morzella of Litchfield, Conn., and Courtney Lea Wiley of Paducah.

His parents were Robert and Bessie Dickey Moore.

Friends may call after 8 a.m. today at the funeral home.
