The superstar being described is none other than TNA Knockout, Jacqueline Moore.
Don't let her 5' 3" frame fool you.Moore has accomplished more in her career than many wrestlers worldwide, this includes both men and women alike. To put it bluntly, Jacqueline is tougher than nails…and every male wrestler knows it.
Since joining TNA, Moore has only added to her legacy. But before TNA there was her career in WCW and WWE as well as the independent circuit.Jacqueline didn't just reach superstardom overnight.
...
They were Texas wrestling," recalled Moore.
Still, watching wrestling on TV was one thing; actually doing it was a totally different beast. But, Jacqueline knew that was what she wanted to do.It was no easy task to say the least. At the time wrestling was a man's sport and women were used mainly to stand around and look pretty.
"It was hard for me at first.A lot of guys didn't want a female in the business," Moore said."I was determined to be a pro wrestler though, and what they didn't know was that I was tough.I had played football and stuff with my brothers."
Opportunity presented itself for Moore, though.
"Skandor Akbar (her trainer) had some pull with them (the Von Erichs), and they were looking to do a woman's match."Moore said.
Needless to say Akbar suggested Jacqueline for the task and the rest is history.
Moore looks back on it now and smiles when she recalls her first match.
"I was excited and nervous, because I had only been training for a short while and my first match was on a live show."
As far as being on the card with the Von Erichs goes…
"It was very exciting to meet them and they were very nice to me," Moore said."It was an honor for me to be on the same show as them."
Early on in her career, Moore set a standard for herself and often wrestled men. This has been something that she has done often throughout her career with no fear. She also took this trait with her when she moved up to the next level and continued this in WCW when she feuded with Disco Inferno.
Jacqueline went on to dominate the WWE, not only becoming their women's champion, but she helped to re-establish women's wrestling in the late 90's.
After leaving WWE, Jacqueline was contacted by TNA and asked if she wanted to join the roster.
Her response was, "Hell ya, I want to be a part of TNA!"
As far as she was concerned, if TNA hadn't contacted her she would have contacted them.
Since joining TNA, Jacqueline has partnered up with "Cowboy" James Storm.
...
"LAX better watch out because my boys are gonna whoop some ass," Moore said of the team she manages, Beer Money.
One thing is for sure, Moore is excited regardless of the outcome of the match. This is because she gets to perform in front of her Texas fans.
"I think Texas fans are the best in the world," she said.
Furthermore, it allows Moore to be on the grand stage where her career began, but it also allows her to showcase her greatness in front of friends and family alike.
"My friends and family will be there," Moore said."I won't let them down."
In a career that is far from over, the best is yet to come from Jacqueline.Although she is not directly involved in the tag team match this Sunday, rest assured she will play some part in Beer Money's match vs.LAX.
