Name: Rich Monis Education: B.S. Kinesiology/Athletic Training and Physical Education, University of Illinois at Chicago(UIC). Awards/Accomplishments: Played Division I Baseball at UIC, Former Head Athletic Trainer for the Chicago Fire-MLS, Voted Major League Soccer Athletic Trainer of the Year in 1999 and 2001. Currently a Staff Athletic Trainer for the U.S. Soccer Men's National Team.

New York (Tuesday, October 16, 2001) - Major League Soccer announced today that San Jose Earthquakes Defender Troy Dayak has been named recipient of the ACE Comeback Player of the Year Award and Chicago Fire Athletic Trainer Rich Monis has been named the ACE Athletic Trainer of the Year.
