The advice from Brian Monahan to owners of home-based businesses is direct: "Get out of the house!"

Monahan, president of IdeaManiac.com, consultant to individuals and owners of small businesses, said he has come to recognize the need for owners of home-based businesses to interact with others and each other.

Monahan formed F.A.S.T. (Free-Agent Success Team) because too often home-based business owners "get isolated in their homes" and embark on their business ventures without the business and marketing skills necessary to meet the challenges they face."It's a support group for home-based business to meet their challenges," Monahan said.

Among the clients of F.A.S.T. are copy writers, massage therapist, graphic artist, personal trainer and hair stylist.

"Sometimes home-based business owners begin operations out of their love for the business, but they lack the vital skills and really can't afford the costs of corporate consultants."That's the need we fill," said Monahan.
