QUALIFICATIONS AND CAREER PROFILE

Devjani Mishra is an Associate of Rosenman & Colin LLP and a member of the Litigation Department.

Ms. Mishra has experience in employment litigation, including actions arising under Title VII, Section 1981, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act, as well as employment discrimination and wrongful termination actions arising under various state and local laws.She also has experience in general commercial litigation, including corporate litigation and entertainment litigation.

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMITTEES

Ms. Mishra is a member of the New York bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Ms. Mishra is the author of a note entitled The Road to Concord : Resolving the Conflict of Law Over Adoption by Gays and Lesbians, 30 Colum.J.L. & Soc.Probs. 91 (1996).

Ms. Mishra earned her undergraduate degree with distinction (B.A., 1994) from Yale University, and earned her law degree (J.D., 1997) from Columbia University School of Law, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and the production editor of the Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems.
