   Carol Saal, President of the Palo Alto JCC's Board of Directors has also announced the hiring of Marcia Mintz as Chief Operating Officer, effective December 17, 2001 and Dann Bergman as Director Membership/Marketing effective October 22, 2001. Marcia will be responsible for Center programming and the Center's day-to-day operations. Previously Marcia was the Sr. Director of Business Development for IQ Commerce (Saratoga, CA) the Director of Strategic Development of AdForce, Inc (Cupertino, CA) the Regional Director of the Jewish Community Federation (Palo Alto, CA) and the Director, International Division of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee in New York. Marcia holds a B.A. from New York University. Dann is responsible for retention and recruitment of members as well as all Center marketing functions. Previously Dann held senior product marketing and marketing positions with a number of business and not-for-profit organizations including Allegiance Telecom, Pearson Publishing, McGraw-Hill, Harcourt Brace, the California Society of CPA's, and Andersen Consulting. Dann holds a B.A degree from Ohio University and a Master's Degree from the University of Toledo.
