Courtney Mills began her paegentry arts career in Florida at Seminole High School in the early 90s... which makes her kind of old.She began as a clarinet player, only to be wooed into the depths of the color guard world.She continued her path as a performer with both The Company Colour Guard (95-96, 98-99) and the Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps (96-99).After being too old to continue performing, she began the next best thing... teaching.

Miraculously, Courtney was able to morph teaching color guard into a real life job at Richland High School in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.She resides in Euless, TX with her two cats, Hobie Cat and Ugly Betty.

We are excited to have Courtney on staff this year to help create and design the body movement for our show!Courtney has been heavily involved in DCI and WGI for over 10 years, and has been teaching top groups in both fields.She is currently active in writing and choreographing for the Phantom Regiment color guard and winter guard.Her unique personality and incredible vision fit perfectly in with our Odyssey family, and we are excited to work with her this year!

Courtney Mills, a native Floridian, began her passion for pageantry arts in 1992 at Seminole High School.In1995 she parted from her high school color guard and became a founding member of The Company Colour Guard and remained with them until 1999.In that time she also marched drum corps with Carolina Crown, aging out in 1999.

Courtney has taught with some of the most well respected people in the activity today and continues to do so with the Phantom Regiment.Some of the programs that she has been affiliated with are; Seminole HS, Cypress Creek HS, The Knights, Westfield HS, Clear Brook HS, Richland HS, Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps, Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps, Odyssey Percussion Theatre, and Phantom Regiment Winter Guard.

In her personal life, she resides in Euless, Texas where she enjoys taking dance classes and teaching yoga.Courtney's other passions are NFL Sunday's, Buffalo Wild Wings, and her cats, Hobie Cat and Ugly Betty.
