Experiments were run in a plexiglass mycorrhizal synthesis chamber, the design for which was modified from plans given us by Dr. Steve Miller (University of Wyoming, Laramie ; personal communication).The primary goals of these studies have been to further characterize species of Laccaria as well as document the ability of particular species of Laccaria to form ectomycorrhizae with select tree species in the laboratory.
