Daniel W. Miller, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice in Brooklyn, NY, formerly Chief Psychologist at Kings Park State Hospital and former director of a private in-patient treatment center in Livingston Manor, NY.He is currently Chair of Consciousness Studies at Greenwich University, a member of the New York Academy of Sciences, Vice-Pres. of the Association for Spirituality and Psychotherapy (ASP) where he also teaches and co-edits Psychospiritual Dialogue, which he helped found.He additionally completed the work of Conference Coordinator for ASP's recent successful "Science and Spirituality: The Transformative Connection" conference at Fordham University, and is a member of the UN/NGO Mental Health Committee.He has lectured, conducted workshops and trained professionals in mental health practice at conferences and training centers in 17 countries and is the author of The Unseen Universe: Of Mind and Matter published in 1993, as well as over 60 articles, three plays and highly praised poetry.
His writing about consciousness stems from the point of view of its function as an interface through which knowledge gained from the fields of Science, Psychotherapy and Spiritituality can be bridged.The integration of knowledge stemming from the investigations of these heretofore disconnected fields of study has resulted in his newest book, The Web and the Cloth: Science, Consciousness and Homeodynamics - What They Are and What They Do.

Daniel Weiss Miller, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist with an ongoing practice in Brooklyn, New York, where he conducts Organic Process Psychotherapy.Organic Process Psychotherapy offers a way to know your Organic Self, helping integrate body and mind to reverse the fragmentation of daily life.
He is the author of The Unseen Universe: Of Mind and Matter which is an integration of psychological, physiological and spiritual aspects of life.
After receiving a Ph.D. in Psychology from Greenwich University in 1997 he became Program Chairman in Consciousness Studies for Greenwich University, created programs for Masters and Ph.D degrees in consciousness studies, and has been guiding students through graduate studies ever since.
Dr. Miller developed Organic Process Psychotherapy out of Primal Therapy in the 1970's having trained with Fritz Perls in Gestalt, Betsy Mintz in Encounter and later with Roger Woolger in Past Lives.
He also has studied Buddhism, Psychobiology, and Physics, among other metaphysical and physical subjects, expanding his view of the forces affecting human life.
Over sixty of Dr. Miller's articles have been published in professional journals on questions of mind-body theory and treatment, using alternative methods.His concern about spirituality and the mind-body problem has led him to a great variety of activities.He has written extensively on the subject of creating a bridge between consciousness, science, and spirituality; he conducts psychotherapy sessions in New York and abroad, and lectures on consciousness at conferences internationally; he is a member and lecturer at the Lyceum Club of the N.Y. Academy of Sciences; is Vice-President and Co-Editor of "Psychospiritual Dialogues," the newsletter of the Association for Spirituality and Psychotherapy; and he holds membership in the International Primal Association, the International Association for Research and Regression Therapies, and the Institute for Noetic Sciences.
